One Night Stand

Friday night, Dave and I got 2 hotel rooms at the Town Suites by Marriott here in Pocatello. The reason behind the 2 rooms is Dave's "Sister from another Mister" as Heather would put it, and her husband were coming to visit. They decided to stay with some other friends in Idaho Falls, then spend the day with us on Saturday instead, so we decided to give the extra room to Mom and Dad instead of canceling it. At the time this was discussed, Heather and Chas were out of town and we wouldn't know when they'd be back, so it was a choice between Marsh and Emily, or Mom and Dad. We talked to Mom and Dad first, and they said to give the room to Marsh and Emily.
With that in mind, and wanting to make peace for everyone, I discussed it with Dave and with the price we got for the rooms, decided to do the 2 room thing again in a few weeks or next month, and letting Heather and Chas have one of the rooms. Mind you, we only did it because our friends were coming to visit, and knew we could afford it with the price we got them at. If we knew we couldn't do it, we wouldn't have, but after spending the night in a room across town from stress of everyday life and contention, away from ALL the dogs, it was well worth it, and something we're seriously considering doing each month.
The rooms were great too, here's the photo of the "Kitchenette" from across the room. I didn't feel like posting ALL the photos of the hotel room.
Thank you Leon for the hookup, it was awesome to be able to be out of the house and worry free for a night!!!
